Good news for 2018 Open Enrollment
Evaluating your different health plan options can be overwhelming during Open Enrollment. We have done a few things to make it easier for you.

For 2018, we've worked to lower our Access+ HMO® rates, while still giving you access to one of the largest provider networks in California.

By staying with your Access+ HMO plan, you won't need to change doctors or worry about what is and isn't covered under a new plan. You can simply get comprehensive benefits and services for less!

We have also redesigned our CalPERS Blue Shield member website to make it easier for you to find the plan information you need on whatever device you use to access the Internet. With a new, responsive design and streamlined content, you can get the most current information you need on the device you like to use.

    See the extra value available to you through our many health and wellness programs and services.
  • New member enrollment
    Learn how to enroll in a Blue Shield plan and how to get started as a new member.

    Search for doctors and hospitals in California, across the United States and around the world.

Cheescake Ice Cream Sandwiches

Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwiches

  • 3 oz low fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1⁄4 cup jam, raspberry variety
  • 1⁄2 cup unsweetened frozen raspberries, defrosted
  • 1 cup lite whipped topping
  • 24 items chocolate wafers
In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, jam and berries until smooth. Add whipped topping; beat until just combined. Spoon 2 tablespoons raspberry mixture on top of a wafer cookie; place a second wafer on top. Set on a baking sheet and repeat with remaining ingredients; freeze until firm.
